Devon Community Foundation makes giving to charity
rewarding, enjoyable and hassle free. We can help you make
a meaningful and lasting contribution to your local community.
Help us to make the most of your donation to good causes in Devon by giving in one of the following ways:
Any general donation you make will go into one of our Grassroots Endowment Funds. You can choose from funds for Devon, Plymouth, Torbay and North Devon . The Grassroots Funds support small community and voluntary groups helping their local community and local people. As endowed funds, donations will be invested and the income generated used to provide a permanent source of help for community groups.

Setting up your own charitable fund at the Foundation is a rewarding and personal way to give. You can set up the fund in your name, that of a loved one or in a company name and choose specific causes or areas of Devon to support. A Named Fund gives you all the benefits of having a charitable trust, without the administrative burden.
Take advantage of our Grassroots Challenge: Set up your own Named Fund with a donation of just £12,500 from July 2008 - July 2009.

Acorn Funds enable you to grow a Named Fund over a number of years. The Acorn will start grant making when it reaches £25,000.
You can grow an Acorn Fund by donating just £65 per month plus Gift Aid.
Take advantage of our Grassroots Challenge: Grow your Acorn into a full Named Fund with a contribution of just £4,000 per year from July 2008 - March 2011.

All legacy gifts under £25,000 are invested in our general endowment fund and the income generated used to make grants covering a broad range of local causes. We can accept gifts of money, property and shares. A legacy of over £25,000 can be set up as a Named Fund.
