Happy Feet For Older People In North DevonHave you ever imagined what it’s like not to be able to reach your own feet or even cut your own toenails? That’s the problem hundreds of pensioners face on a regular basis. However, now help is at hand, thanks to a recent Grassroots Grant of £500 from local charity Devon Community Foundation to the North Devon Footcare Project. Set up by Nancy and Alan Green, the Footcare Project provides a bi-monthly drop-in service for elderly people in the Ilfracombe area of North Devon. The project has eight trained volunteers, with two more currently being trained.
