Devon Community Foundation has a range of different funds designed for small community and voluntary groups working to help local people across Devon.
We are constantly adding to and changing these funds as different donors and grant programmes come on board. We aim to make our application process as simple as possible and to get money to where it matters as quickly as possible.
The current funds available for grant applications are:
The Plymouth Herald and Sport Relief are launching Community Cash - small grants for community groups in Plymouth!

Support and advice will be on hand for applicants from Devon Community Foundation and two workshops and surgeries will be held in Plymouth on Wednesday 3rd February from 1:00pm - 3:00pm and 3:00pm - 5:00pm. To book a place please email grants@devoncf.com.

Grants of £250 - £5,000 are available to voluntary and community groups in Devon (including Torbay and Plymouth) which meet the following criteria:

Standard Grants (£901 - £5000) please click here
Fast Track Grants are processed within two working days upon receipt of completed applications.
Express Grants are processed within two weeks upon receipt of completed applications.
The deadlines for Standard Grants are approximately every 8 weeks. The remaining deadlines are:

Grants of up to £500 for community projects and groups which are not eligible for other grant making programmes. This now incorporates the Wales & West Utilities General Fund, Rural Fund, North Devon Relief Fund and the Clare Milne Trust Fund which provides small grants for groups working with people with disablilites.

The Devonian Fund aims to help individuals and groups specifically targeting mobility problems. Individuals cannot apply themselves, and must be referred by a Health Care Professional, or a community group. The average grant will be £500 however larger sums of £1,000 or more may be considered depending on the need described in the application.

Grants of up to £5,000 for community projects helping vulnerable unemployed people in Exeter to build the skills and self-confidence they need to help them back on the road to work.
